“What the hell is art? A curse on the head of Marcel Duchamp – as because of one ’toilet,’ this is what our art looks like today: whatever an artist does, without an aesthetic sense – just conceptual. Words could be put together in books that are no less emotive. Where are the days of Caravaggio and the Baroque artists who knew how to capture the light, in both senses. There’s a need to shock contemporary art and provide it with an alternative. Why can’t I be moved by a picture or work of art without reading all of the text that surrounds it, and without suspecting that the concept was developed a er the work was done? Perhaps it’s necessary to present work without a name, and allow the observer to write the text.”
