Silence is not the end of sound, but the beginning of attention. Silence is relative and subjective, but there is one absolute truth about it – we all need it; the longing for external silence is an expression of our need for inner peace.

This realization led to Pacific – a wearable accessory that uses active noise control (ANC) to allow the user to regulate noise intensity around him. The user can choose between different soundscapes and even share his silence with another person, in a gesture of closeness and intimacy.
